The Outreach Program
Michael Casting Pearls is a ministry outreach program that travels around America helping people in need. The program predominately helps people who are living on the street with food, clothing, housing, medical operations, and dealing with various personal problems, but anyone who honestly needs help, regardless of their financial status, will be helped with what they are dealing with, within reason.
Helping people is on a case by case basis and there are a variety of issues that I help with: here is an example of a woman I helped with housing and other problems that arose after her house burned down and after there were multiple attempts on her life:

Humanity is a broken family, and through every act of compassion in the name of God and Jesus, we weave this family back together:
Basic medical supplies are handed out and if people are experiencing some sort of emergency, transportation is provided to relocate someone to a safe place.
Sometimes helping people is more personalized, like cutting toe nails and finger nails for people. I have surgical toe nail clippers for people with thick long toe nails. The cutting instruments are cleaned between uses.
The ministry has used a mobile shower system for the homeless where the homeless are given a shower on the spot.
The ministry has helped with special needs families with basic things as well: doing the dishes, taking out the trash, getting the groceries, taking care of the kids, feeding them, playing with them, and helping teach the children right from wrong.
The greater mission at hand is helping people transcend “the physical” and move closer to God and become the mature and loving individual that God welcomes into His kingdom. The greater mission is to help people get to Heaven and showing acts of compassion is a way to open people’s minds to understand how we as people should be treating each other. This ministry is meant to help build community and trust with people to create a network of support that can give people the help they need - not only with “the physical world” and physical needs - but this network can give people hope, purpose, and faith in life.
Pursing God and making God first and gaining purpose and faith in life leads to healing people with other problems they may be struggling with (mental health issues, low self-worth, problems with addiction, issues with “low” states of mind: despair, anger, fear, bitterness, resentment, distrust with people and humanity).
Michael Casting Pearls responds to disasters. The ministry was present in the rebuilding of Lake Charles, Louisiana for the 2020 devastating hurricane season and in Houston, Dallas, and Austin, Texas after the winter power outage in 2021.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Basic medical supplies is at the ready: a variety of different sizes of bandages, bandage tape, Neosporin, Cortizone and psoriasis treatment, Benadryl, Gold Bond, Narcan Nasal Spray, hydrogen peroxide, a cold pack, Tylenol, aspirin.
Narcan Nasal Spray is for people who are overdosing. Prior to being used in an emergency situation, 911 should be called and an ambulance should be requested.
When sprayed into the nasal passage of someone who is overdosing, the person overdosing can be resuscitated by the Narcan. If, after the first spray they are unresponsive, the Narcan is to be used again in the other nostril.
Pants, shorts, and belts of various sizes are distributed.
Mens and women’s shoes of various sizes are distributed.
Blankets are distributed.
Women’s underwear of various sizes are distributed.
Men’s underwear of various sizes are distributed.
Bibles are distributed to those who ask for one.
Pampers are distributed.
Tents are distributed to those who need shelter.
When available, people get a tarp along with their tent.
